 APPLE CASH

Apple Cash allows you to send money through the Wallet App or via text messages.  

  1. Open the Messages app, then start a new conversation or tap an existing one.

  2. Tap the plus iconNo alt supplied for Image, then tap Apple Cash. Enter the amount you want to send, and tap Send.

  3. Add a comment if you want it to appear in Latest Transactions for both you and the receiver.

  4. Tap the Send buttonSend icon to review the payment.

  5. If you want to send the money using your debit card instead, tap Change Payment Method.

    • Turn the Apple Cash slider off.

    • Tap your debit card to select it.

  6. If you don’t have enough money in your Apple Cash balance to send the payment, you can pay the remainder with your debit card.

    • Your Apple Cash card and debit card will appear on the screen, with the amounts that will be deducted from each card. 

  7. Double-click the side button to pay, then confirm your payment with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

If you haven’t added a debit card to the Wallet app, you need to add one to send money.
